Additional equipment for handling equipment

As the name "additional devices" already suggests, these are devices that are added to forklift trucks and other handling equipment. They are not a basic part, but the customer can have them installed on the equipment. If you use, for example, a forklift, you have certainly already encountered some kind of additional equipment.

The main and most fundamental purpose of an additional device is to make our work easier in some way. At is handling of cargo or comfort at work.
Additional devices can be divided into two basic groups:

Mechanical attachments - which do not need any special modifications and are very easy to install. We can replace various mechanical devices on our equipment in a matter of minutes.

Fork extensions are certainly among the most frequently used mechanical attachments. This helps us in handling dimensional load. Another very frequently used device is the assembly platform, which is used to lift people using a forklift or a reach truck. Mechanical attachments also include various mandrels, shovels or crane arms.

Hydraulic additional devices - for which it is necessary to adjust and prepare the handling technique. For installation, a professional service is needed, who will adjust the technology and install and connect the device. A free section of hydraulics is always needed for connection, which is also indicated by their designation. These devices are intended, once installed, for long-term use. It is not possible, it is simply removed from the device and replaced with another one. This option is only for mechanical devices.

We include, for example, lateral displacement in hydraulic attachments. This is a device that allows us to move the load to both sides, thereby facilitating and speeding up the handling of the load. In this group we also find, for example, hydraulically adjustable forks, the so-called positioner, which enables the adjustment of the distance / pitch between the forks, thanks to which it is possible to quickly adjust the necessary width for the best grasp of the load. We can also equip our equipment with various turns or jaws for bales and rolls.
